Epic Memorials is deeply honored to provide event planning services for the celebration of life for legendary Bellingham Firefighter Captain John M. Kunnap. Together with John's wife Lydia, we are creating a truly epic memorial including a host of meaningful elements from John's life-  from his love of attending Burning Man to his penchant for taco trucks and his fabled ability to tell a really great story. Please join us at 5pm on the evening of Saturday, October 12, 2019, as we celebrate John for the love, laughter, and joy he brought to all who knew and loved him. The event will be held on the beautiful property John crafted throughout the course of his life at 562 East Smith Road in north Bellingham. The celebration will begin with a taco truck reception at 5:00pm, followed by a ceremony commencing with a sunset toast at 6:26pm and later continuing around the campfire with stories of John and how he touched the lives of those who were blessed to know him. We are asking guests to dress warmly for this outdoor event and for those inclined to honor John's free spirit, costumes are encouraged! Parking is limited so we are requesting guests do their best to carpool.
